Megha handles all areas of family law. These include divorce, child custody, alimony and child support, premarital agreements, domestic violence, and post-judgment disputes, as well as mediation and arbitration. She is especially known for complex equitable distribution cases. That work includes valuing and dividing closely held businesses, stock options and restricted stock units, and public and private retirement and pension plans, including state, police, firefighter, and teacher benefit systems.
Dispute Resolution and Court Appointments
Megha is a qualified R. 1:40 family law mediator and serves as a Parenting Coordinator. She also sits on the Family Court Early Settlement Panel in Middlesex and Somerset Counties, where she helps the court and litigants evaluate financial and legal issues and work toward a resolution in contested cases.
Leadership in the Legal Community
Megha is active in New Jersey’s legal community. She chairs the Middlesex County Bar Association’s Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee and serves on the New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Executive Committee and the Middlesex County Family Law Executive Committee.
Awards and Recognition
Megha received the 2025 Edward Schoifet Family Law Award from the Middlesex County Bar Association. Her other honors include the Martin S. Goldin Family Law Award, the New Jersey Law Journal New Leader of the Bar Award, and the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey Rising Star Award. This marks her third consecutive year on the Super Lawyers list.
